Coupling Agents

Our coupling agents are called IruBond which stands for IruChem Bonding Agent. They are MAH (Maleic Anhydride) grafted olefins and include.

IruBond improves the mechanical properties of olefin compounds containing glass fibers or fillers such as talc, mica, ATH and other natural materials such as cellulose or wood fibers. They can be used for LLDPE, HDPE, PP, etc.

IruBond coupling agents can also be used in PE/wood applications, PE/glass compounds, adhesion between polymers and metals or other non-compatible polymers such as polyamide, polyester and more.

Physical compatibilizer is composed of materials of low molecular weight and low melting temperature. It helps dispersion of polymer and filler, or polymer and polymer. Compatibilizers make physical connection (mixing) between the following materials.

For HDPE compound, grafting of

MAH is best achieved using Iubond500

in contrast to

competitors' coupling agents.

For LLDPE compounds, grafting of

MAH is best achieved using

Irubond400 contrast to

competitors' coupling agents.
